The winner of Hobart/NP is the overwhelming sectional 17 favorite.

With Valpo's injuries I don't see anyone from the 219 getting to Lucas Oil.
Question, can Hobart break the NP jinx?

Nut
2-1 Sectional/ Regional record against New Prairie is a jinx? Way to make something out of nothing!

Re: Region contenders

It doesn't hurt. I appreciate your thorough and persistent arguments. Andrean does get some good players. "Poaching" is a harsh word when families make a decision to send their kids there. Just like they can choose where to live. Let's start shaming people for living in Valpo too while we are at it...

Re: Region contenders

Mason, McCormack and St. Germain have all done objectively better than their predecessor / follower. They each turned their program from a sub .400 to a .600 winning program with multiple title game appearances. I would say that they all, and esp. Mason, have had plenty of studs and used their coac...

Re: Region contenders

Rising tuition, school getting older, changing interest in Catholic education. It's not all great in terms of enrollment. You make a valid point. But you are dead wrong about them not being a football program that is built from the ground up. They care and it shows. It's easy when you have the stud...

Re: Region contenders

CB4, you're just hating. Denying that Andrean has tradition or a solid program from something outside of kids transferring to play there. Kids go there for lots of reasons. Kids go there for genuine academic reasons, or because of family / friends. They're not a bunch of defectors that abandon thei...

Re: Region contenders

Tradition never graduates is the biggest load of crap I ever heard. It never graduates because it moves in every year. When's the last time they fielded a freshman team for football. Don't tell me they're building a solid program from ground up. Didn't a LC kid move in for his senior year to play Q...

Re: Region contenders

Nope! That's how Hobart lost Zach Merrill.
