Re: Highland Opening

1. I am not Parkhurst. 2. Maybe I’m not just a Hanover grad? Ever think I attended both schools? And played for both? Eat crow. 3. That Parkhurst guy y’all talk about hasn’t been in this thread for all I know.. 4. To the man that said Noah is top of the region… if he is then why is it the last 5 ca...

New Sectional Alignments

Griffith just cannot escape the ghost of Russ Radtke. He never needs more motivation to build a team but knowing they're in his sectional won't hurt.

Portage, LC, Penn, and CP is going to be a fun one.

Ville still getting the layup sectional.

Re: Highland Opening

Doesn’t matter. Outside of 1 year for CP. Merrillville is the top dawg. Valpo nor CP would contend with merrillville 5/6 years. Heck the year Valpo won state. They got lucky and caught Merrillville on an off night at regionals. Everyone knows Merrillville was favored by 20+ according to John Harrel...

Re: Highland Opening

Just curious why does everyone overlook merrillville. They have been the most consistent team in the entire area. Yes Valpo has a state title. And crown point has been there. But NOONE in region history has been to as many semistates in the last decade as merrillville. They have what? 5 in the last...

Re: Highland Opening

I would say that he is a really good hire for Highland all things considered. Remind me why he left Gtown so quickly? I would have thought he would have been a long time guy there. Played for Russ. Home town guy. Had success. Not sure the actual reason but I would of left them behind to if they abr...

Re: Highland Opening

Home run? Maybe because it's Highland. This is not a Buzea hire. The new guy coached Griffith for 4 seasons, 3 of which were spent beating up on GSSC teams. Any talk of NCC dominance might be a bit premature. Being a force in the conference and dominating are different things. I said they'd be a fo...

Re: Brickie Bowl

It would be amazing. I went to my first ever high school football game there probably in 1985 or 86. I had a cousin that played for them back then and got to go to all their games in the championship year of 87. I was 12 years old and it was electric. I can still feel the place shaking and hearing ...

Re: Highland Opening

It’s a terrible secret. Clue: Local small college. Great hire for Highland. Now can they get the Jimmies and Joe’s??   Let's just say he will develop the Jimmies and Joe's. I played for Radtke and knew many highland kids. There was nothing drastically different about our athletic ab...

Anyone hearing where this process is at? I'd assume they don't want to take much longer
