RDP has been missing from Friday nights for awhile, really since Kennedy left. There were a couple good years that produced success but it wasn’t the same.

The new complex is beautiful.

Any thoughts on how the Devils will be this year?

One would wonder what the last seventeen years would’ve looked like for RDP had Kennedy stayed.

Birky was a stud. That KV team was a fun one, they got blasted against Hobart in round one of the sectionals 38-0. KV has had two very good coaches in the last 15 years (Kennedy & Stewart) and neither had much success. Lots of growth in the KV school corporation. This has to get better right?

The 2012 KV Kougars were a fun team, that’s the only memorable KV season I remember in the past 20 years.

Not surprised unfortunately. Great coach, just couldn’t find the success he had at Lowell.

Who’s everyone’s teams to watch this upcoming season and what players are we excited about?

Lowell goes back to their reality in 2026 which is a .500 program. The three losses they had were non-competitive. They were fortunate to have a talented senior class that played hard and beat up on bad teams. Hobart is the premier 4A program in NWI and I don’t see that changing in 2026. Illiana wil...

Lowell was better this year with a really talented senior class. I’ll be interested to see what year two of McKim looks like for the Devils.

What’s 2026 looking like for everyone?

Hobart & Andrean both return a lot. Lowell & Crown Point lose alot.
