To be fair CP was going against one of the top teams in the state so they struggled a bit. Portage scoring at will. But I’m sure watched every team out there.

Ok, jimbo. I only said portage looked the best from what I saw over the summer. Never said they were the best. But they lost a WR who only played in a handful of games last season. Nothing else on offense.

Just going from what I saw. I didnt see Laporte or MC in the DAC. Portage has a lot of seniors on offense, and they looked very fast. Just going by summer scrimmages which doesn’t say much. We will know more about the rest of the teams after Friday night.

Just going by what I’ve seen over the summer. Here is my list of best offense and defense by conference.

GSSC: OFFENSE- Griffith DEFENSE- Wheeler
NCC: OFFENSE- Hobart / Andrean DEFENSE- Andrean
DAC: OFFENSE- Portage DEFENSE- Merrillville / CP
