6A- the matchup we have been waiting for CP vs Penn. Can the Penn passing game be the thing that cracks the CP defense.

5A- I would say looking at the score Morton gave merrillville more than what they were probably expecting against them. Morton defense held the pirates to their lowest point total since they played CP earlier in the year. Morton had chances on offense but could not capitalize. Munster has no chance against merrillville. Sectional 9 title game was played round 1.

City vs Laporte boy rivalry game could be another close game. Laporte could be riding high after the Chesterton upset last week. City took it to Valpo in round 1 after the regular season matchup was a closer game. 2 teams playing well at the right time.

4A- Title game we have been waiting for since the middle of the regular season Lowell vs Hobart. Lowell moved the ball well last time they played the brickes but didn’t score too many points and won on a field goal as time expired. I can see Hobart running their QB more this game than they previously did vs Lowell. Should be another good game.

3A- Go Knox. I hope their RB runs for 500yds this week.

2A- Andrean is a talented team but the wheeler game was definitely a “closer than the experts think” type game could it be the same against a tough gritty bombers squad. I am not familiar with the bombers during this season the only time I have seen them play was the summer time and I’m sure like all teams they look different know compared to June.

6A - The closer the game gets, the eerier feeling I have that this might be Penn's year to get the Dogs. I like CP in a close one but this feeling won't go away... Lol

5A- The Govs gave the Pirates problems and that game was definitely the Championship. Merrillville by A LOT. City and LaPorte will be much closer than their first matchup.

4A - Hobart will NEED to run the QB MUCH more to have a chance. The Hobart offense could hardly muster a drive all game against Lowell. The Lowell D is good but not impenetrably good. I like Lowell 24-10.

3A - Same. Lol

2A - I like the Bombers style and normally when the Bombers have a good record, they're a good ball club. I think this one will also be closer than experts think. I like the Niners to win it (sorry coach Nowlin) but I'll be the happiest guy for coach and the Bombers if they can pull off the upset!

Team rushing over 3k is fun however

1000 yard PUNTER too !!!! on only 24 attempts. 41 yards per attempt which is outstanding IMO for HS kid

Crown point is definitely gonna be in for a fight this week! Penn has a great passing game that can test the dogs defense. But I do think the dogs run away with this one as I have witnessed team be able to run on Penn sometimes to easily. I’ll take dogs up north by 10.

Merrillville I don’t know a whole lot about but they seem to be the best shot to make it to state in the top 3 classes. Have seen highlights they look legit. Only thing I know about there game with Morton is why u have read and that was there were many dropped passes by the pirates. And a lot of trash talking coming from there side. Pirates should have no issues with Munster. Pirates by 35

Lowell/hobart has the makings of a classic. I think this comes down to the very last possession. Both teams will establish the run but I have more faith in Lowell’s line than I do Hobart. Lowell by 8

Andrean in a blowout

This has always made me laugh during pregame. If you're a run-first, option, wing style team just line up and do what you do in pregame, to hell with putting the ball in the air!

Seems you guys have a nice little three-headed monster carrying the ball for you guys. 2 of them carry it more than the 3rd but some nice numbers on the year for all of em. Those Bomber hogs are working hard! Also... VERY impressive of your punter!

one of horses has been out since week 8. So it goes, but knocked off Logansport without and that was a great testament to our kids able to not be fazed losing the 1200 all purpose and 16 tds in 8 games

Ahh man that's tough! Kudos to your kids for working through that and persevering. Always love and admire the toughness of the Bomber program!
