Transfer Portal Tracker

Post by kvkougar2007 »

With the new transfer Rule officially coming into effect on June 1st. Who has already transferred who will be a big name and we can use this track the player movement?

This is going to be a wild June for football in the region

WR Anton Mathis (portage) to Merrillville (confirmed)

Ogabano Williamson (portage) to Merrillville (confirmed)

Daqueon fields (portage) to Michigan city (confirmed)

(Almost every incoming senior that was left is supposed headed to Calumet)

Also heard Merrillville has some stud DE coming from Morton. (Not sure what his name is) (Not confirmed)

IF... this is all true then are we to believe that all of the players you mentioned are moving into the school districts you noted? Because the 3 players you list are all incoming seniors and they are not eligible for athletic transfers under the new Rule 19.

Sit back and watch how that works. That's all I'm ginna say.

Rule 19 will not be upheld per the portage coach that informed me of there movement. As portage signed off on them leaving before end of school year. They enrolled into there schools on the "last week" so they are technically eligible. As they were now considered students if that school beofre the start of next school year.

Many schools have done this over last few years. They have them come in within the lastontj to make sure they are eligible.

But hey what do I know. I was just told by the portage coach they left portage not to long after Roy was fired.

And almost all portage players transferring are incoming seniors.

Depending on reason they fired RR state may overlook the transfers if it's a safety issue. But again who knows.

There are always loopholes. If you think that's gonna be upheld your sadly mistaken. Less then 1% of transfers ever get rejected. Plus with this being announces so late they will give this years junior -senior class a pardon I bet.

But there are portage kids going everywhere. We got a QB at Chesterton.. not sure if he will play or not but he is here. He was throwing to the boys a few days ago.

Most of the Portage transfers did not happen.
