I want Merrillville to do it so they can shut up the critics on the other board!
They have the talent to do it! Do they have the resolve to do it?? They are going to get tested/some bad breaks in tourney at some point but can they overcome it???

I think they can make it to state with relative ease I don’t see any challenge till state I watched Jeff play city earlier in year. Jeff doesn’t have the defense to stop the pirates offense. All the pirates have to do is stop Jeff 4 times all game.
And I think Merrillville beats all at state except new pal. New pal has the power run game the pirates can’t stop

CP - Tough road to get there for sure. Penn, Carroll, and then Carmel would be a gauntlet to get through. I think the Dogs bow out to Carmel in the semi-state, and while they're probably slightly favored versus Penn and Carroll, those games are close to toss ups in my mind.
Ville - Legitimate shot to go down to LOS this year. Cakewalk to the semi-state where they likely meet Jeff. I do agree from what I've seen the Pirates are better but their history in semi-state gives me pause. Hill is the x-factor. They haven't had a QB like him under Seiss.
Lowell/Hobart - Whoever wins their rematch will probably get a date with Mishawaka in the Regional, which will be a tall task. East Noble or Dwenger would likely await in a semi-state. Not sure the Bricks or the Devils have the juice to get to LOS.
Knox - Definitive Sagarin favorite in 3A North. Griffith and Tippecanoe Valley are likely the only teams that can stand in their way, maybe Leurs in the semi-state if the Knights get hot in the playoffs. If Myles stays healthy, they'll be playing in LOS Thanksgiving weekend.
