Re: Who Is Next?
Ahh, so Hammond Central is next on the docket, is it?
Well then… one can’t help but note — rather grimly — that Old Milby had himself a proper nightmare at the plate, didn’t he? Three strikeouts… three! That’s not just a bad day, that’s a full-on disappearing act. And yet, despite all that swinging and missing, he still managed to leave the Wolves stranded… high and dry, like a ship run aground with no tide in sight.
Now the question becomes… who steps up? Because against Hammond Central, you won’t get away with passengers. Someone’s got to grab the moment by the collar and do something with it, or it’ll be another long season, I’m afraid.
One would hope the Wolves fancy a response… rather than a repeat performance.
