duties and responsibilities: The Head Varsity Football Coach will:
1.Be responsible to the Athletic Director for accountability of the total football program at the school.
2. Exercise leadership in the teaching of skills, citizenship, character, rules and treatment of injuries.
3. Work in harmony with the varsity assistant football coach(es) in promoting the total football program.
4. Supervise players on team at all times during practices, trips and games.
5. Perform any reasonable duties in the football program as may be assigned by the principal, athletic director or his assistant.
6. Perform scouting duties.
7. Instruct players in the fundamentals of football.
8. Treat all minor injuries of players and refer more serious injuries to trained medical personnel.
9. Make sure that Student-Parent-Physician form is on file; also the emergency data form and the athletic code signed.
