This was a week eight game and it has apparently been cancelled (no longer on the John Harrell schedule for either Morton or BS) leaving Morton with a vacancy on the schedule.

....probably end up being an idle week

What's going on at Morton in general right now? Looks like all 3 of their final games have been canceled, according to their website.

Only 2 wins between Morton and HC this year. Morton had been pretty good in previous years. Just a down cycle or sign of Hammond football future?

HC is in good hands with coach Hudak. Hammond basically didn’t have a season last year and taking a year off we are seeing the results. Yes Hammond did put together a short 4 game season last year but no offseason or summer program. HC has had 3 games cancelled due to covid. They have made up all 3 games but unfortunately for them it has been vs teams that are very solid established teams. With some good young talent and a true full offseason program look for HC to make strides next year
