2A enrollment
No residential boundaries
81% of students participate in at least one sport
60% play two sports

Great things....

Great fall season for Andrean High School. Congrats to all.
3 state titles in 29 days?
They won girl's volleyball and boy's football. What was the 3rd? I know they were runner up in girl's soccer (still a fantastic accomplishment).

Add "Do not have to accept any and all students"

and

"no one attends Andrean because of athletics"

If it was apples to apples...but it's not.

States with a well-run state athletic associations applies a multiplier to p/p schools' enrollment totals to mitigate the advantages the p/p's enjoy. Unfortunately, the IHSAA uses a poorly thought out "success factor" that - and buries their collective head in the sand when the p/p's still consistently win the majority of football state championships in Classes 5A though 1A.

There are no 6a p/p's by enrollment.

Bitter little man with a game from 11 seasons ago in his signature line. Congrats on that one time Andrean shot themselves in the foot like 6 times.

Who said no one comes to Andrean for athletics? Of course they do - mostly for football and baseball. But that’s because those programs have been built up over many years.

I can tell you with certainty, every member of the volleyball team graduated from a CYO feeder school.

Not our fault Wheeler sucks at everything.

At least you admit it. In the past, several have tried to make the argument that "no one attends Andrean because of athletics" here.

Without the advantages noted above, Andrean would be just another 2A football program.

Bearcat C'mon Man, the whole private vs public argument is BS. How many Valpo kids do you see on that roster for Andrean? Its like 4.

Kids from Valpo want to go play for Marshall at Valpo High because of the culture he has built that translates to a great on field product. If you don't want kids in your district to attend Andrean than you have to give them a reason to stay.
