As far as French what "other" Coaches are you referring to?

In two years at Calumet French had a 15-6 record. I know this is a short time to establish a winning reputation; however, with the "weak" conference do we discount those wins? In order for your reference I have listed coaches from MC for the last 28 seasons.

Burkhart 10-21 (one winning season)

Bye 16-26 (one winning season)

Holmes 26-35 (one winning season)

Buzea 12-18 (one winning season)

Schreiber 1-9 (goose egg)

Karpinski 11-38 (goose egg)

Mason 45-32 (four winning seasons)

Yes Mason is the winningest coach in the last two almost three decades. Who are the coaches, beside Buzea that; Because coaches who had more experience and success than French didn't have half the success Mason did at MC? I believe with time French will have success at MC that will go down in the record books.
Bye, Holmes, and Buzea all had more experience and success than French before they took the MC job, and you've got their records listed at MC there. Hell Schreiber could arguably be up there too. And Karpinski had at least coached big boy football down in Indy before. If French wins 3 regionals in 7 years at MC, I'll be happy for him, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Mason is going to do extremely well at Griffith because he has done well everywhere he has gone.

BNI is the hardest job in the region to win at hands down.

If they are going to get it back this will be the time.

I really hope they can. Gtown being good makes region football much more enjoyable.

I hope for the sake of region Football Griffith comes back with the same obnoxious swagger and cockyness they had back in the 90's. Fun to watch... the Boneyard had home field advantage. Look no further than the '97 Regional clash between Griffith and Hobart.... a classic game and a powershift in Lake County.

80s-90s region football was the best. So many good memories.
