REGIONS BEST GAMEDAY EXPERIENCE

Post by NWI10 »

What are everyone's favorite places to watch a game?

My top five is:

1. Hobart- Love the blend of the Hobart history mixed with big stadium feels. Parking is really well designed.
2. Merrillville- Stadium design allows you to feel really close to the field. Would love to see it maxed to capacity for a big game.
3. Lowell- Football is meant to be played on grass. Lot's of big games played at the Inferno in the past. Would like to see stands improved.
4. Crown Point- Under Coach Buz the vibe is really something. Wish they would have kept the stadium downtown.
5. Valpo- Black endzones are really cool. Perfect place to watch a game in the fall.

Hands down until 2009 Brickie Bowl was the place to see a game. Many classy places that have seen better days are now abandoned or demolished.

Agree with Nut, no place will ever surpass the bowl.

Several good ones mentioned already. Have to throw in Whiting. Cool setting looking out on the lake.

Some cold nights just off the lake on the visitors sideline.

I know it's unrealistic but I wish the town of Hobart could use some tax dollars to renovate the Brickie Bowl and play big games there weather willing of course.

I know everyone misses the Shish Kabobs and packed Boneyard Friday Night Lights
