Best Shot at Lucas Oil

Post by NWI10 »

Who has the best chance from NWI to make it to Lucas Oil?

I’d say the 59ers

Hmm tough one

Andrean has a cake walk in my opinion to semistate where they will probably battle Adams central. This will be a great game Andrean offense has to score a tad more but that defense is legit. So id give them a 60% chance to get there and a 45% chance to win it all.

Knox in 3A should cake walk to semistate that’s where I have them losing. I’m just not a fan of Knox but times there own. Knox once they run into someone who will commit to stop the run I think it’s game over like last few years.

4A winner of Hobart Lowell will make semistate and probably falter.

5A… I mean…. Come on. Do I have to say it… fine… pirates have way too many weapons this year and the defense is solid. Should be a cake walk to state. But we all know how our history at semistate goes. We beat anyone in south except new pal in my opinion.

6A no chance. As I have Penn beating crown point in sectionals. But the winner of that game falls at semistate to Carmel

DACfanatic, pretty good assessment.

6A : CP. Can they do it? Always a chance but not a good one. Penn, FW Carroll , Carmel in the way just to get there. I dint see it happening. CP is not quite the same as last two years.

5A: Merrillville. Legit shot. As stated on other thread, they are better than LJ. I think they will play for 5A title. New Pal stands in the way of the title.

4A: Hobart. Hobart is the better team vs Lowell. They will win sectional. East Noble and/or FW Dwenger in the way though.

3A: Knox. They have a legitimate shot. No one has stopped their running game and the RB/QB yet. He leads the nation in rushing.

2A: Andrean. They have the talent. They have the defense. Defense usually travels well. Offense sputters too much especially in red zone. They will need to score more than they have. Adams Central looks to stand in their way again although Eastbrook is looming in the NE. Bye week is helpful as they need the time to get healthy. Andrean must be healthy to achieve its stated goal.

You have Penn beating Crown Point, yet Penn’s closest game this season was a come-from-behind win over Mishawaka. And you believe Lowell or Hobart will advance to semi-state? Something about that doesn’t quite add up.

But penn is a joke anymore. I wouldn’t even favor them over portage anymore. Penn will never come back to being the penn we all know.
Who exactly are you crappin sir?

Can we really say Hobart is better than Lowell when in all reality Lowell beat them already? Am I missing something?

Penn has more to prove I think coming into that game. They are more balanced than anyone CO has seen since Merrillville and if you say with city/cp game for first half. Penn is a better version of city in my opinion. I’m just not a fan of anything crown point does. It’s just to basic for me. I know people say imma hater but I haven’t been impressed with anything they have done before buzea or even during. It’s a hard sell for me and I think Penn needs the win to make a statement that the duneland doesn’t cake walk the sectional. Because remember Merrillville took the out for 2-3 years before dropping to 5A… Penn needs to get back to Penn of old and get the respect back. Feel like that game is where they do it

I admit I did say this but since this statement I have compared them to a few others and Penn is a balanced team and has many weapons. I still feel like crown point is only 1 man.
