Munster
Anyone have knowledge of what is going on at Munster? 2-18 the last two years. Sad to see the proud program in this condition.

I'd imagine social distancing and Zoom conferencing... School campus is off-limits until June 30 per state mandate.footballwrestler wrote: ↑Wed May 27, 2020 2:14 amAnyone have knowledge of what is going on at Munster? 2-18 the last two years. Sad to see the proud program in this condition.

Re: Munster
Unfortunately the number of kids that are playing football is way down at Munster. Marsh left at the right time because the talent pool dropped off right after he left. Now they have some good coaches there with Grunewald, Martin, Vance and Geffert but they just don't have the players to be competitive
Re: Munster
I realize coaching football is as much having the Jimmy's and the Joe's as it is X's and O's, but if Munster's coaches are "good", how can they not inspire those kids or coach them up even a little? They got embarrassed by Hanover Central, which is up and coming, but it also speaks to the depths to which Munster has fallen. 3 years of awful football under the current regime, there has to be a better choice at the top. Munster may have never been a powerhouse program, but you knew you had to get up for them because they were competitive most years. It's just bad over on Columbia Ave. right now.

First win of the year for the Mustangs last week! Going to be a long year though with conference play around the corner though.
Re: Munster
since winning sectionals in 96, they have 8 playoff wins in 23 years. it has been a downhill slide for a while
