Merrillville looked great last night in their game against Andrean! They didn’t lose a step. They were missing a lot of players that were on their roster last season. So the Illinois this must be true. But!!! ATTENTION BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!

And I have it on good authority!! That TREY STEPHENS HAS TRANSFERED BACK TO MERRILLVILLE AND WILL BE STARTING WEEK 2 HOBART! SUPERFAN CODY ALMOST ALL BUT CONFIRMED IT WHEN I SAW TREY AT THE GAME YESTERDAY IN THE STANDS!

IMO, Merrillville shouldn’t have let him re-join the team. Sends a message that the inmates are running the asylum.

Great rivalry win for the Pirates. But, beating a talent depleted 2A school handily should be expectation for them at this point.

There are a few things out on why he left. I do know the true reason… yes there was recruiting from an Illinois school… but… there was a personal matter that had to be taken care of.

100% agree, it was only 21-6 at half and saw on twitter that andrean fumbled in the redzone when driving which would have made it 28-13. I expect them to compete against us this week but they are a team that could be really scary by the 2A playoffs
