Rusty resigned from Portage on Friday morning - sounds like he's heading to Knox.

Real tough situation Our #1 concern should be the players they deserve better.

if the right hire is made, and I think it will be, Portage might be coming out of this in a better situation.

Anybody know why Radtke made such a surprising about face? Turns around and leaves before he even holds his first practice--what's that about?

Did what was best for him and family. Left Portage and most importantly the players high and dry I struggle with it

They(Portage ADS) won't do it, but time for Portage to admit they made a colossal error in this hire. They so badly wanted to make a big splash they rolled out the red carpet to a guy that, though he had a lot of wins under his belt, was what 67 years old or something? He certainly was successful, but had a bit of a history for doing his own thing. They didnt hire the younger more obvious choices and now they are getting burned. I agree with the previous poster, its too bad for the kids when the adults in charge make these types of decisions. If they get the guy they should have hired in the first place, they will come out better, there is no question.

Who do you think they should of hired in the first place?

I was really excited to see what Russ could do in the DAC.

I am sure he will do well at Knox.

He'll probably go unbeaten during the regular season, repeat as sectional champ and make a strong bid for a regional crown.

Roy Richards getting this job ?
