DAC WEEK 4 preview and predictions

Post by DACfanatic »

Power rankings going into week 4 for the DAC

1. Crown point (@ lake central)
2. Valparaiso (vs Michigan city)
3. Merrillville (vs portage)
4. Michigan city ( @ Valparaiso)
5. Lake central ( vs crown point)
6. Portage ( @ merrillville)
7. Chesterton ( vs Laporte)
8. Laporte ( @ Chesterton)

Preview and predictions

Crown point/lake central: crown point dominated merrillville all the way around the ball no matter what injuries were on the field. They ran the ball with purpose against a tired merrillville D. Lake central on the other hand is showing improvement but it’s no where near the level of the upper DAC! Crown point will pull away around half and win the game.

CP wins 35-7

Merrillville/portage: portage is 0-3 on the season and is struggling to put complete games together! They are definitely improved from years past but not enough for this game. Merrillville got completely dominated by crown point last week it’s the worst their offense has looked in 15 years. Defense held their own for the 1st half. And then it was open season in 2nd half because of how often they were on the field. Merrillville front 7 will dominate this game. Merrillcilel run game will resurface and run for 300+ to show their dominance! Merrillville defense will not allow a score with the varsity. Merrillville rolls in this one!

Merrillville 40-0

Chesterton/Laporte: Laporte has no chemistry at all. After a surprise win against New prarie they have looked horrible since. Don’t expect that to change anytime soon as they will go winless in the DAC. Chesterton on the other hand will dominate this entire game! Chesterton is just superior to the slicers.

Trojans 28-7

Game of week:

Michigan city/Valpo; this game is intriguing 🤔 Michigan city may be turning a corner. But their defense still looks horrible. And they haven’t played a complete game yet. Valpo on the other hand has a great run game and a good defense, And a better coach. This game will be close till half but the Vikings will pull away and put the wolves back in their den! Showing them they still aren’t ready for the top of the DAC!

Valpo: 35-24

That's all we get from you regarding the beatdown Merrillville took at the hands of a team that, per you, has no athletes?
