They used Alcorn to pass and Clark to run. They did it once Burda went down. Their passing game wasn’t really getting anything going and he came in and did a pretty good job I’d say. Interesting to see what happens going forward.

Valpo parents said Clark never came back in game. After burda went down. So the backup did the rest of game. And as for Clark. Have heard he has a AC joint sprain. But nothijg confirmed

He was in running the ball in the 4th Q. He scored their Toucjdown to go up 35-0

I do see from the scoretracker that Clark did have a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Looks like that made the score 35-6, though, and not 35-0. Portage's lone touchdown came in the third quarter.

I wonder if that was the plan -- to give themselves a look at Alcorn in a game that on paper really did not seem like it would be a game (and turned out to be that way as well).

Might be worth watching to see if Burda is injured if they will look to install some plays with both on the field at the same time. Clark carried a lot of rushing load from his normal QB position.
