I see zero chance that a 4-4 Lafayette Jeff team that lost to Michigan City beats Crown Point. Jeff's four wins are against 0-8 Indianapolis Tech, 1-7 Muncie Central (whose only win was against Tech), 2-6 Marion, and 3-5 Richmond (two of their wins were Muncie Central and Marion). That's a combined 6-26. Jeff is basically the same caliber as Lake Central and CP beat them by 26.

Low quality bait.

Still waiting on you to list those 16 D1 players from Merrillville.

Love to see Hobart get to semi state, but I am just not sure they can get past NP on the road.

North Judson with a very good chance comparing common foes.

Andrean will be very lucky to beat LaVille. Great for the region, will be rooting for, but lucky.

Hanover is legit, Chatard is a buzz saw.

What New Prairie team will we see? Hobart is average at best.

Valpo may be as bitten by Injuries as any team around. People only talk about the running backs, no one is talking about the decimation on defense. Will be very interesting in playoffs.

Crown Point’s destiny is in their hands.

Considering you picked Lowell and Morton to both beat Hobart and they lost by a total of 64 points, I’m not sure you are an expert on Hobart.

Hobart may or may not beat New Prairie, just don't think it's fair to call them average at best. They'll finish the regular season at 7-2 with a non-conference slate of Chesterton, Merrillville, and Morton so they certainly aren't trying to duck competition -- they are playing larger schools that you would expect to be decent.

One thing that seems to be true about the New Prairie/Hobart matchup historically: when both teams come into the game and it looks like it will be a good matchup, the game typically ends up being a blowout.

I believe that they've played each other three times -- all in the postseason. All three times both squads looked to good and provide a solid matchup. All turned out to be blowouts.

2016: Sectional finals. 8-2 Hobart played 8-2 New Prairie. Hobart won 35-14.
2019: Regional. 10-2 Hobart played 11-1 New Prairie. Hobart wins 36-7.
2022: Sectional finals. 8-3 Hobart played 10-1 New Prairie. New Prairie won 49-28 in a game that wasn't as close as the final score.

The winner of Hobart/NP is the overwhelming sectional 17 favorite.

With Valpo's injuries I don't see anyone from the 219 getting to Lucas Oil.
