Great season for HC! Coaches, players and community should be very proud.

Regarding VikingNation comment regarding coaching, it was clear that WL staff made some adjustments at halftime that worked as they rolled in the 2nd half. HC coaches did not make an adjustment to WL adjustments and were hoping their lead would hold up. Obviously, it did not.

Bearcat still alive, love that you still have the andrean-wheeler link in the signature LOL

Never said they sucked at all, called them a program on the rise, they have only had a program since 2015.

If you watched the game you can't deny that the end of it came down to West Lafayette coaches and players making it happen and Hanover Coaches getting conservative.

They had a good year but again everyone knows the NCC was down. Everyone has ripped Andrean, Lowell, and Hobart on this board this year.

... and too many defensive penalties in the game on HC. Say what you want they happened at crucial points in the contest.

I didn't see anything invalid in what you said. It's true. For HC to take the next step and win hardware throughout the playoffs it's fair to say they'll need to figure out how to close out winnable games. Shane Fry is a State Title winning coach and he's built a solid program at West Lafayette. It appears they are now the barometer for Hanover Central for the foreseeable future unless Sectionals get re-aligned. On the plus side, Chatard will be moving up to 4A and could be there for a while with Roncalli being down.

I do have a feeling that HC choked away a Regional title as I think they or West Lafayette would beat Knox.
