The fighting hobart jv brickies with a nice win over a KV team that some have been pretty high on.
Surprised at Andrean only putting up 28 on munster.
Sounds like Portage gave Merrillville a pretty good fight for most of the night.
Valpo and City with a good battle.

The over 2.5 for the Brickies looks like a lock. Lol
Andrean/ Munster score for sure surprising.
Portage battled against Merrillville for 2 years in a row now. Have to feel that they're going to get a big DAC win at some point soon.
Valpo prevails but the DAC "Game of the Week" lived up to the hype.

Andrean offense didn’t execute well but also had 2 td passes dropped in end zone both wide open in wr’s hands and another 40 yd td catch by Finley got called back for a penalty.
Agree though not well played game offensively. Defensively they dominated Munster.

I am eating crow on Hobart JV, that's for sure.
I am not surprised about Andrean score. If you don't think Skinner took it easy on his Former AD you are crazy. I am sure that was reflected in the score of the game.

I watched a little of the Hobart game, their RB #6 was impressive. Ran hard.

This makes it a different game entirely. We're really looking at 49-0 and not 28-0 without the mistakes.
Doesn't sound to me like Skinner "took it easy" on his old boss either. Considering, based on NWI's intel, Andrean should have hung 49 on them...
Ballin, #6 is a good player as is Willy Shearer. Was fortunate to coach Willy as a Freshman and #6's older brother in my one year stint in Hobart. Both make the Brickies a much better football team.

Portage definitely a different team. But to say a fight idk. The first quarter and mid 2nd was a dog fight.
But after that merrillville defense dominated. Portage in 2nd half only had 67 yards of offense. Merrillville WRs dropped some wide open passes in 2nd half that could of made the score a little more spread out. But I think merrillville finally choose a QB. But the biggest thing in this game…. Combined 19 unsportsmanlike penalties for both teams.. it was physical better the game even started. But portage definitely is on the right way. But should only win 1 more game. (Laporte)

19 unsportsmanlike penalties is an absurd number. What was happening on the field for that many flags to be thrown?

That is a huge number, surprisingly no ejections?

Agree. Are we sure no one was ejected? If yes, they miss this week’s game correct?
