Week 2 thoughts??

What’s everyone think of week 2?
I’ll say what I noticed about 2 DAC games.
Crown point offense still doesn’t look great. They either are holding back or they are really rough compared to last year. Had some pike people say that the pike defense is solid but there offense is horrible.. crown point defense looks good. But offense might be in trouble this next week TBD.
Merrillville hung with a young Loyola team and had many opportunities to bust the game open and win and just didn’t finish some drives. The defense for the pirates suprised a lot of our own fans. Look forward to seeing the clash next week. Might be defense on defense. Both teams have talent on the defense side.
Any thoughts around region? Or on these two?

Lowell looked very impressive last night. Offense THREW the ball at will vs Laporte.
Laporte does not have much team speed. They will not win another game this year.

CP - took care of business in the heart of Indy. Good for CP and Region. Offense needs work!
Merrillville - impressed me the most. Should have win that game. This team is really good. Stay healthy and this team can win 5A.
The rest of the conference is a bunch of average teams.
Merrillville beats CP thus week.

Lake Station 2-0 for first time since 1990. Crazy.
Now they did just play and beat a homeschool team

Good on Lake Station!
Wheeler is 2-0 for the first time since 2018. Too many penalties against KV though. I'm confident that Coach Testa will get that cleaned up.
