Best football player to come out region?

Who is everyone’s best football player to come out of Northwest Indiana? There are definitely a lot. Is it someone from past? Some one recent?
I’m gonna take a stab at it..
I’ll have to go with Eugene Wilson because of his history in the nfl. But there is a plenty of talent across the area over the years

My vote for "Best" is Kawann Short, for now. If Drayk Bowen gets a 2nd contract in his NFL career, he will be my #1 choice, easily. But for now... It's KK for me.

My mom went to school with Alex Karras and even dated him for a short time.
I gave my dad a bunch of crap when I found that out. You mean my father COULD have been a HOFer?

Not a bad list. I have always wondered head to head who people would choose between drayk and grant.
