Week 5 thoughts

1. Slicers pick up a win very few said they could!! Congrats slicers
2. Crown point rolls again.
3. Merrillville absolutely took there little brother to the shed and put Belt to A** (might be 2 injuries in this game that ends seasons.
A LB for purple and potentially a QB for city. As he left game with a knee issue/score out of hand . Praying for both but injuries happen :/
4. Andrean proved a lot of region folks wrong by owning Hobart in every aspect of game.
5. Calumet rolls bowman
6. Chesterton breaks a losing streak to valpo! Is this a sign of Chesterton winning a sectional?
7. Griffith rolls river forest

I think a few people were surprised by Hobart. Not the cakewalk a few predicted. The Ville put a whooping on MC… time marches on,

Sorry, I just have to say it….told you so!!
MC is a fraud. Watch the film of their games. It shows every week.
CP and Merrillville are the class of the DAC by a long ways. They both will win out the rest of the regular season with relative ease. These two need to start prepping for the playoffs.
As for the other teams in the DAC, mediocrity will prevail with these teams beating each other over the remainder of the season.

So the team that is going to finish 3rd in conference is a fraud?
Does that mean the whole DAC outside of CP and Ville is a fraud?

The conference is way down this year.

Team to team basis
Crown point I’d say is a little worst than last year.
Merrillville is about the same maybe a tad better
Chesterton. I like this Chesterton team over last years.
Laporte is better than last years Laporte team.
City is better than last years city team. They have more speed and more talent just the attitudes are getting in the way. Maybe Cody French has to go.
Lake central and valpo are much worst than last years teams
I’d say the conference is a little better but not much.
O and portage is terrible as usual.
