With their victory over Bishop Noll, the Lake Station Eagles match their highest win total since the 5-5 season of 1999. Their last winning season was in 1998!

The Mike Hepp era, 1998 Lake Station was 8-5… sectional champions.

The best Lake Station sectional performance was in 1990. Losing in the 2nd round to RF after having beat them earlier in the year and were already talking of a sectional championship that year. Was a great night (and year) at ole RF.

Played against Dale Ginter and big OL/DL and Heavyweight Wrestlier. Zasstic (??). from Lake Station, perhaps Bombers ping pong draw them and we go way back throwback with playing both River Forest and Lake Station in same season
