What is all the stink about, ND did not do anything that other schools don't already practice ?

The “stink” is that it’s Notre Dame. ND holds itself to a higher standard. This is both disappointing and embarrassing. I’m sure measures have been taken to prevent something like this in the future. We don’t stand for that sort of thing at Notre Dame.

A coach talked to a kid 6 days or so before the contact period began. This probation is nothing like probations from the past, ND get less contact in the spring as far as visits go and like a 5k fine.... They can still play in a bowl, they aren't losing any scholarships, etc. Same investigation this season with Texas A&M and Florida, and their seasons still went pretty well. As a fan not concerned one bit, just glad they aren't putting money in McDonald's bags!!
