I do not look for TK to stay… who’s the man?
Its officially open, who ya got?
Jimbo's Application Predictor for Portage
1. Cody French
2. Eric Schreiber Jr.
3. Rick Good
4. Ben Geffert
5. Mac Mishler
6. Charles Salary
7. Phil Mason
8. Casey McKim
9. Romeson St. Louis
10. Rob Gardner/ Jimmy McCormack/ TJ Lukasik/ Adam Hudak/ Josh Sabinas/ (Insert more Region Assistants)

I ranked them in order of my perceived likelihood they will apply and be a possible candidate. I did not account for someone from outside of NWI who thinks they're going to come be the savior of Portage football even though I know those types will of course apply (as they should).
Interesting list. Would like to hear your reasonings on specific candidates

1. Cody French. 100%
2. Eric Schreiber Jr. 0%
3. Rick Good. 99%
4. Ben Geffert 40%
5. Mac Mishler. Unless Portage plan to reunite with non-IHSAA opponents, he won’t fancy it.

7. Phil Mason 0%
8. Casey McKim. 0%
9. Romeson St. Louis 100%

Anyone in particular you'd like to ask about? Or would you like an explanation for all? I'm down for whatever.

Jimbo's Application Predictor for Portage
1. Cody French. 100% (I agree with your 100%)
2. Eric Schreiber Jr. 0% (SHOULD BE 0% but you never know if someone wants to "climb the ladder")
3. Rick Good. 99% (I slightly disagree with you)
4. Ben Geffert 40% (Number for him should probably be higher, it would be if I was him. Lol)
5. Mac Mishler. Unless Portage plan to reunite with non-IHSAA opponents, he won’t fancy it. (In his tenure at Morton, Mishler has faced Indy Cathedral 2 times, Elkhart 3 times, they've played 6 games vs DAC opponents in the regular season, Hanover Central twice, Tippecanoe Valley, and a legit STATE contender in Michigan twice.) Your [and anyone else who holds this thought process] belief that Morton's schedule has been filled with non-IHSAA shitty opponents throughout Mishler's tenure is the fakest of news in NWI...)
6. Charles Salary 100% (I agree with your 100%)
7. Phil Mason 0% (He applies for nearly every job. Putting a 0% here is negligent.)
8. Casey McKim. 0% (SHOULD BE 0% but you never know if someone wants to "climb the ladder." Except in this case, Casey has expressed interest in the DAC before. Why not now?)
9. Romeson St. Louis 100% (I agree with your 100%)
10. Rob Gardner/ Jimmy McCormack/ TJ Lukasik/ Adam Hudak/ Josh Sabinas/ (Insert more Region Assistants) --> No comment on these guys?!

I ranked them in order of my perceived likelihood they will apply and be a possible candidate. I did not account for someone from outside of NWI who thinks they're going to come be the savior of Portage football even though I know those types will of course apply (as they should).

Brett St Germain is the Athletic Director at Portage and will be the hiring lead one would assume. Who from your list has close ties with BSG?

This will not be seamless hire. Many hitches and hiccups before it happens. Let’s not forget what happened three years ago.

It comes down to a current DAC coach and a GSSC coach.
