Congratulations to the Merrillville Pirates coaches, players and fans!! Well deserved!

Also, I’m happy for you DAC. You catch a lot of grief on here but no one can deny your passion for your team! Enjoy the Indy experience!
I’m down there every year normally. I don’t expect a win this week but as long as it’s respectable I’m happy. Would love a win but I know when to back down from a fight

I think everyone will be rooting for the pirates. Definitely going to be a tough game for them to win, but anything is possible. It’s why you play the game!

Big week for Cody… he better get ready for that Demaree scoreboard to get lit up next week by Concord.
Concord may not of scored all game if Merrillville doesn’t fumble opening possession. Could have been over at half.
COULD have been 14-0 Concord if THEY didn't fumble on the 2 yard line going in to score... Merrillville did EXACTLY what they needed to do after an awful start for them. First drive turnover/ touchdown allowed to go down 7-0/ Punt/ get marched on. They force a turnover of their own, go 80 for 6, and take over from there. Even when Concord made it 20-14 late, they didn't flinch. Kudos to their players and coaches for getting it done especially after a SLOW start that apparently DAC Cody missed. Lol enjoy the Dome Cody P, the mighty Dragons await!

Absolutely! I wanted Valpo to beat New Pal when they had a chance too. Hopefully Merrillville can surprise some people. Tall task but would love to see them win it all!

Jsyk that statement actually came from the Elkhart newspaper from concords coach. “If Merrillville didn’t fumble on the first possession I’m not sure we score in this game! That gave us the momentum we needed early”

Some of the parents of the kids at new pal said when they got the film. They didn’t expect to see all the “weapons” that Merrillville has. They were thinking maybe just 1 or two. But idk I don’t think the offense fo the pirates will be the issue even though new pal defense is loaded. I think the issue will be pirates defense against the run

Please share the link to that article and quote for me, if you don't mind. The article I read from Concord's/ an Elkhart paper did NOT have this quote in there. It DID include a quote about Concord fumbling at the 2 while up 7-0 and whether or not he felt like that would've helped them "win the game" which he then very humbly acknowledged how good Merrillville was and said he was not sure it would help them win the game. But if I missed the quote you're referring to then please show me.

So now we are to believe that you have communication with parents from New Pal?

My gosh man

I'd like to hear what TROJANMAN has to say about the alleged newspaper quote and parent comment situations.
