Coach Skinner
Coach Skinner
Coach Skinner has now won 2 state titles as a head coach of the 59ers. With his age being what it is… could he end up passing Howells 4?
Will he be a 59er for life or pursue a bigger school gig?

Passing QB is back (gore)??BallinFreak wrote: ↑Sat Nov 29, 2025 8:26 pmwhat do they have coming back next year? Do they have a lot of seniors?
RB McCoy is back (also LB)
Ethan is back I believe also.
I could be wrong but I believe the whole defense front 7 is back.
If I’m not mistaken… they need to “replace” the QB ellish and there Oline I think most of the rest is back.

Re: Coach Skinner
I think there’s a very good possibility they would’ve won 3A this year. Playing in a predominately 4A conference + the non conference games prepares them to make a run. I think we have to start talking about Andrean being the best program in the area.

Re: Coach Skinner
I am going to say he does not pass Coach Howell for number of titles. Took him 10 years to get 2. It is really hard to win this thing. Moving up classes is going to make it harder. In the current climate and culture of our world it is really hard to continue coaching for the long haul. I can see him stepping away at some point needing a break from the chaos.
But either way what he has done is really impressive.

It’s a big deal to win a Blue Ring.
Re: Coach Skinner
Andrean returns a lot. Offense:
4 starters from offensive line(lose Novak)
2 starters at wr (lose Jones)
1 starter at qb ( lose Elish)
All 4 rb’s return
Both te’s/Hback return
Gore returns at qb. He got valuable playing time this season. Not the athlete that Elish is but a good passer.
Defense:
Front seven ( lose Algeretti and Christian Jones)
Lose both CB ( Custy played a lot as a freshman)
Return both safeties
Losing both cb’s hurts because they were lockdown corners that played man coverage thus allowing front 7 and safeties to play very aggressive.
They return a lot of talented players but lose some great seniors that were awesome leaders. Hard to replace great leadership. The article in the Times talks about the senior leadership on this team and it is very accurate. A great group of seniors that were talented and the leaders of the team.
