From JH Board: The South Bend Community School Corporation announced that they will close Clay High School at the end of the 2023-24 school year. Declining enrollment and improving student achievement noted as the main reasons for their decision.

Sad to see.
Always seemed like for a few years that Hobart or Griffith would get them at some point in the season. One year, probably early 2000s they knocked off both Hobart and Griffith and then lost a heartbreaker at the semi state.
