Let’s be honest about Wheeler. They are what you call a “paper tiger”. They need to get out of that conference and upgrade their schedule. It is probably attractive for a new and/or young head coach that has upward ambitions. If Testa is ambitious, I can see him definitely leaving for a 6A program in a high profile conference.

Let's be honest about Portage, they have a 35% winning percentage since 2003 (Buzea's last Sectional Title there and the programs). They have won 0 Postseason championships nor looked capable of doing so. They have gone through 7 head coaches since Buzz left compared to 5 at Wheeler in the same time period. Sure, Wheeler needs to "upgrade their schedule" but if you think being in the DAC and 6A is simply what "makes Portage a better job" then man, you could be the 8th coach and then the 9th will be right behind ya... Lol

By the way, since 2003, Wheeler has a 65% winning percentage and has won 2 Sectional Championships and lost a few close ones too. I don't care if I'm a new, young, old, or veteran head coach Wheeler High School is a better football coaching job than Portage High School in 2025 America.
