I do see from the scoretracker that Clark did have a rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter. Looks like that made the score 35-6, though, and not 35-0. Portage's lone touchdown came in the third quarter. From the Stands wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 1:55 amHe was in running the ball in the 4th Q. I wonder if that was the plan -- to give themselves a look at Alcorn in a game that on paper really did not seem like it would be a game (and turned out to be that way as well). From the Stands wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 2:32 amIt looks like they were rotating every seriesthe dog wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 2:18 amSo did they have Alcorn and Clark both in at the same time or was it more of a rotating situation at quarterback once Burda went down? From the Stands wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 1:55 am

Were they rotating them prior to Burda's injury?

Might be worth watching to see if Burda is injured if they will look to install some plays with both on the field at the same time. Clark carried a lot of rushing load from his normal QB position.scarab527 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 11, 2023 10:22 pmNo only after he went down

You've been awfully quiet lately Parkhurst. Finally accepted the demise of Merrillville football at the hands of the Valpo Vikings? Or, patiently waiting to get chesty if the Pirates can go on a heater? BTW, as a disgruntled Bears fan, welcome to QB hell as the NFL has figured out how to defend Jordan Love. You were spoiled with the Favre and Rodgers era.
