Portage has a solid RB. But the 3 points they had at half were set up by Merrillville miffing a punt return catch.

Should have been 30-0 at half.


2nd half. Idk what was going on. Players rotating at different spots for pirates but never really “pulled” starters. They were in and out depending on the down and distance. Portage ran the ball very well in 2nd half gotta give them credit and a few dropped passes by some pirates WRs in this game allowed the score to be closer than it rally should be. Also I believe this is the biggest win for pirates over portage since 2020? But I could be wrong. I know at least a few years. Merrillville defense was great 1st half and non existent in 2nd half. Gotta fix that.


Run game for Merrillville finally showed up tonight. But again no disrespect to portage its portage.




Valpo killed them selves late in the game with city otherwise I think valpo wins by 1 without the bad wildcat snap.

Penalties honestly there weren’t a lot. I think we had 4 all game? Maybe 5?

But portage had like 20 delay of games how do you get that many delay if games
