Re: Wheeler HFBC Position Open
I have access to MYIHSAA and Other areas:
If the AD goes to IFCA to put it on there, they get directed to me: If they go to MYIHSAA and put it there, it gets pushed out state wide none of those have happened:
If I was in my old day gig running the lab, I would by now go to say RF School Corp website to look myself, however, I do not have the time nor do wish to hunt them down, AD's and others know how to get it state wide if they choose to.
As anyone actually checked their School corp website under Employment opportunities?

The below listed links are what I was able to find. 2nd link may not work but if it doesn't it can be found in link 1. I assume this means it's still open but honestly until Ballin got angry at the State, I forgot it was open and as Coach just explained it sounds like that's River's fault (sorry Ballin...)

Wow never heard of him- Why leave the Ville for Cheesetown?? Then go to Wheeler whoa. I hear he got the job due to knowing the Asst Sup and said he will play the booster club and School Boards kids. Best of luck to him.

I think he even had a short stent at VU if I’m not mistaken.

Re: Wheeler HFBC Position Open
I don’t think he left I think he got “forced” out of Merrillville. I’m not in that room but I know most fans and most players didn’t like his play calling becuase he never gambled. And he didn’t know how to set up plays. He was big with run game and never really wanted to utilize the WRs unless it was slant or deep shot. Again just what I hear. I witnessed a lot of runs on downs that should of been throws.. and alot of plays were scripted toward sideline instead of middle of field which can be both good and bad.. idk, but I definitely liked play calling this year without him.hobart25ballout wrote: ↑Fri Feb 27, 2026 5:23 pmWow never heard of him- Why leave the Ville for Cheesetown?? Well Wheeler Fans won't like not throwing it deep or over the middle since the last 3 years their QBs were in the top 5 in passing in the area before the post season and had some good WR's as well. Good Luck with that Bearcats
