Any thoughts or rumors out there?

I am sure they will be moving quickly

I’ve heard rumors of Roy Richards and Phil Mason of Michigan City. (Not sure why Mason would leave) also listen to the AD speak tonight on region sports interview. He did sound like he was leaning towards an in house coach... bringing back Wally? We will find out by next week.

Is Wally still at Portage?

They could sure do a lot worse than Wally. Good man.

Wally would be a terrible decision. Portage had it's worst years under him.

I totally agree that it would be a bad decision. I think if he never switched to that wing T offense he would of had more success. I was just thinking who else could they hire that is in the school system? He has head coaching experience. Just think for the situation that we are in and such little time, you would need a coach with experience... even then this will be a tough task. They do have a very talented junior and sophomore class to work with though.

If they want to stay in house my guess would be Jay Novak or Terry Chestovich

Coach Novak would be an intriguing pick. I know coach rod brought him in to run RPO, and they ran quiet a bit of it in scrimmages, but come season time barely at all. They need a guy who will run an offense that beat suites Tylee Swoopes.

I like Swoopes at WR. I seen some highlights of Bloom at QB. Looks like he has some speed and throws a decent ball.

I agree. I believe Swoopes plays WR in college. He is such a rare athlete. Don’t know too much about Bloom.
