Sooner rather than later for the sake of the program!
Just speaking as a fan that talks to a lot of parents in city. They do not like anyone on the staff at city. They are unsatisfied with the way they have played and the talent they are losing to other schools. They think it’s needs a complete overhaul top to bottom… I think they just need the right coach
You also claimed years ago the parents from City you talked to wanted Mason out as well. Could it be that City fans just have unrealistic expecations?

Unrealistic expectations… umm… idk how to answer this.. we all know I’m a fan of the pirates… but… personally I don’t see why Michigan city doesn’t own that sectional all these years. They have more talent. And more athletes. On paper I just feel city has been better than every valpo team for years… maybe not all but most.. personally I don’t see it as unrealistic because I think they are a jv version of Merrillville.. the coaching to me is a issue and discipline. But talent wise no those expectations I feel can be met. I don’t see why a consistent regional appearance with a semistate every few years isn’t there..

Now with valpo and Merrillville in 6A they have no excuse they should be at semistate o would think

Talent and athletes doesn't mean squat if you don't have the lines to compliment them. And that is a MAJOR difference between City and The Ville. And Valpo (in that Sectional) historically has had far better line play than City. Maybe the City parents who like to complain about coaching should be asking themselves what they're doing to help their linemen in the off season. Investing in camps, clinics or one on one training?

It’s what’s up front that counts. Have to have the run game to complement the passing game.

Just curious when has city ever had a passing game? I still don’t know a QB they have had worth being worried about.. I never even felt Tyler bush was a threat… maybe I’m missing someone but I agree but what passing game? They have been run heavy for a few years.

Since it’s what they need to develop along with a strong line to grab that brass ring. Never said they ever had a successful passing game in the last three years. I do believe you are a French hater.

Michael McCullough was good. So was Bryce Hayman.

I literally had to delete my response including them. Thank you for mentioning them. Both Semistate runs were lead by a passing first attack.

Well we have a winner. Wonder how long it'll be until City announces. Out of respect for him and the process I will keep things close to the vest.

I couldn’t tell you who either of them are. Never heard of either. I even asked a few others that have been through the city program recently with there kids. They said not a clue. 😂 till take your word for it
