So you are saying that the DAC has voted to expand?
The DAC 3 years ago voted to explore expansion. To 10 teams. And there was a proposal by crown point last summer to remove city and Laporte citing not competitive in any of the major sports

Voting to explore expansion and expanding are 2 different things. Of course they should always be looking to improve things. But the fact remains there are just not many options for teams to fit into the DAC. Penn could work, but that is some really long nights of travel. And if they were going to do that I think it would be done already.

I can understand why CP would want to remove City and Laporte. But I do not see that as a viable option either. Are there other schools in the conference that are in favor of that?

Lowell & Hobart would be viable options for the DAC.

Why would Hobart want to go back to the DAC?

The NCC seems like the perfect set up for Lowell, Hobart, Andrean, HC.

Munster was talked about a few years ago. Their size would fit in with the DAC, but I do not think athletically they would be a good fit right now.

Hobart left the DAC and joined the LAC (Black Division I believe) prior to the formation of the NCC. I will bet you the farm they will never go back to the DAC. It’s the 21st Century…. things change.

So how is the DAC going to expand? Where do they find these teams that fit?

And if they drop MC and Laporte they are in even a bigger mess of finding teams.

One of those things that sounds great in theory, but does not play out well.

As it has been said by other schools.

Lafayette Jeff and Penn are both in to joining. But football games at there schools would have to be played on Saturday.. conference for other sports becomes a little tricky would have to be Friday’s but penns former coach said they did get an invite to join in 2028 when the conference voted to expand or change anything again. But hey what do I know. I just live inside the school 🤷‍♂️

C’mon Scarab527, you’re better than that. Really not necessary.

You may live in the school, but it must be the custodial closet rather than the athletic dept. because this my friend is fiction.
There has been no talk of playing games on Saturdays, no talk of an expansion for the last 3 years. Coach Yeoman has never publicly spoke about getting an invite for 2028, and I’m guessing you are not besties.

When you make stuff up you’re no longer a flying angel but rather a fallen one.

Who the hell said I’m an angel. And Corey himself has said this to multiple media outlets back in 2023 it’s even in there paper back then. Even gave an interview on it to region radio sports network. And yes there are talks about games on saturdays especially when the sublease is talking about doing a varsity/JV double header for 1 week on a Saturday next year all in same week. Believe the looking at week 5.

Varsity plays at 5. Jv plays right after. Kinda like how Gibson southern and an Evansville school (I believe) are doing this year? Or next year
