Arguing with someone who spells Merrillville as "Merrellville" is gonna be a new low for me but here we go... I played in NWI from 2006-2009 (AT MORTON, a proud member of EVERYONE's lists) and have coached here from 2011-2025 at 6 different schools. 4) Hammond Gavit (no one talked shit like the Gladiators, they could be down 50 to a team of D1 players and would STILL talk after a play)

9) Merrillville
10) Michigan City
If you make me replace the now closed Hammond Gavit, I would slide everyone from 5-10 up the rankings 1 place and put the Griffith Panthers at 10. As a former player and now coach, the Lowell's, Hobart's, and DAC schools of the world talk their fair share of trash but when you're team is NOT good AND you still talk trash, that's a whole other level of trash talking. Every team I ranked 1-6 has had little to no success (aside from Good's stint at Calumet) in football but STILL make the list because they're relentless with the talk win, lose, or draw. The teams at 7-10 on my list have (for the most part) talk trash AND have success albeit that Andrean, Merrillville, and City have had more recent success than that of Morton.
