Watched Hobart and Chesterton and some of NP and Laporte.

Very impressed with the Brickie defense. They were big fast physical and aggressive. Chesterton could not get anything going.

I told ya Laporte and NP was a game to watch. Was not impressed with NP at all. Nice to see Laporte start year with a win.

Portage the best offense in the DAC

Sadly we had no pick em contest. One of the traditions of this board. Sad stuff.

Kinda watched all games on and off for DAC.

Crown point defense was great against a undermanned Lowell front. They had there way with it. Offensively they don’t look great. If it’s. It Gibbs it’s not doing a lot. Pike next week will be interesting.


Michigan city: offense struggles till 2nd half but the defense is as good as last years.

Portage all I’m gonna say is yall need Roy Richard’s back. Tony is not the answer at coach. Be lucky to win a game.

Chesterton offense was abysmal. Lots of runs and not many passes more than 2 yards.


Merrillville: I was surprised a lot. Defense was fantastic fast physical aggressive. Offensively spectacular we have a QB let’s see if he improves as year goes on. If he does the sky is the limit

Hobart has to stop Red Zone turnovers. At least three times fumbles. Five point ball security. Other than a few opening night jitters looked pretty good. Lots of offensive weapons.

I don’t disagree. But as a fan stand point I love this game for week 1. We don’t need back to back power houses. Loyola is fine and then crown point. Andrean is probably the best non conference team the region has to offer.


And some top Indy area schools have been called. None of them are willing to travel north to DAC country that early in season. We want a home and home with them.
